We got a new fire tune coming from Harlem emcee Wise Vega. The up-and-coming hitmaker has been making his bones on the underground circuit for years as he continues on his ascent to the big time. Today, he dropped off his latest single, "Free," featuring his Yac House cohorts and Philly natives Newz Huddle and I-Know Brasco.

For Wise Vega, born Davon Brown, this artistry reflects his life and experiences conveying messages from Wise – the conscious rapper who speaks of struggle, family affairs and everyday life, and Vega – the flashy, cocky, sarcastic rapper who speaks of the good life. Because of this, the Harlem-born rapper has garnered attention that has given him the opportunity to perform with various artists such as Migos, Lil Yachty, and No Malice, just to name a few.

After his recent EP release, Party and Bullshit, Vega sought out to give his listeners a deeper perspective of him as a person. In 2017, he entered as an inpatient at a mental hospital. With his newest release, “Free” featuring Newz Huddle and I-Know Brasco, he intends to tell his story and let the people hear him speak his truths of the experience.
